East Coast

We took a drive down to the east coast of B'dos for lunch today, stopping at the Atlantis restaurant for lunch. It started raining just as we arrived, but we still managed to stay dry (this was the theme of the day). We ate over the ocean with the waves crashing ashore - the waves on the east coast are much higher than the west because the island is no longer in the way of prevailing winds.

We drove around the southeast part of the island afterwards, checking out high cliffs and deep blue seas. We managed to evade the rain on two more occasions, watching it advance on the island as a curtain of water and then soaking everything foolish enough to be out in the open.

Sitting around chatting ended this day of travelling around the island and was much more entertaining than the last time when we took a jeep tour - more personal and relaxed.

Tomorrow, the beach again. ;)
