The stars align

and I have time to blog!

This is the first time in a long time I have arrived at work before 8am. It is the first morning I have been able to get up without pressure in a long time. No early morning meetings, no troublesome field stops. So here I am in the quiet before everyone arrives and I find it peaceful. I think that having a car and not having to commute from KW will allow these days to happen a lot more often.

Low Writing Phase

I go through these phases every once in a while. I will write up a storm for a month, then for 2-3 months, a bit here, a bit there. My journal is much the same way. Lots of stuff in there when there is time to spare, not much when things are hectic.

I guess that is more a reflection of my time management skills than anything else. When I am busy, I unwind a lot more in my spare time, which means less writing. (or because I work late hours). Another reason may be the amount of time I have spent in KW with Shea in recent months - now that we are moving in together, that extra time spent driving will ease.

Oh, I am also looking forward to going back to the gym, which is just around the corner. :)
