Field work
Well, today I was in the field all day sampling from people's wells once again. Windchill and frostbite aside, I find it strangely relaxing being out of the office - almost like a weekend. When I am in the office, the stress levels are sky-high. But once I get outside.... I don't know if I will ever turn into one of those "don't want to leave the office" hydrogeologists. I couldn't stand that.
I keep learning new stuff too, peeking into people's wells and looking through their basements for that treatment bypass tap. I've seen some pretty spiffy houses in the last couple of weeks.
Anyway, it has been a medium-long day (not the 12 hour jobbies I've been working of late), so I need to go take care of this smell. :P

I agree with Dan - What Shea said is gross.
The best way to reduce stress in the office is to bring booze or have sex.
I prefer both
